World Edit is a feature in Cypress that allows you to modify large portions of your world easily. It was inspired by a Bukkit plugin of the same name and was probably used to create Freerun and Zombies maps.

Selection

A selection is an area in which most of World Edit's operations are performed. It is a cuboid defined by 2 corner points: point 1 and point 2:

The points can be set in 2 different ways:

You can use the following keybinds (But only when Cheats are disabled):

  • N -> Set position 0 to the block you are looking at (Probably unused)
  • , -> Set position 1 to the block you are looking at
  • . -> Set position 2 to the block you are looking at

Or you can use these commands:

  • +worldedit_setpos1 -> Set position 1 to the block you are looking at
  • +worldedit_setpos2 -> Set position 2 to the block you are looking at

GUI

When Cheats are enabled, you can open and navigate the World Edit's GUI by pressing any of its navigation keys:

  • PageUp -> Previous option
  • PageDown -> Next option
  • Home -> Accept (same as +worldedit_accept command)
  • End -> Back
